Location of Electrical Appliances:

The electrical equipment like generators, inverters are to be kept in the South-East direction 

Location of Operation theatre:

The ideal location for the construction of Operation Theater is the West or southwest portion of the hospital. Interiors of operation theatre should be painted in light color preferably light cream, light green,  light peach, light pink and likewise. 

Emergency Rooms Vastu Hospitals:  

Emergency room of any hospital should be in the south-west direction while ICU should be placed in the Northwest area.

Location of Labs and Medicine Room:

South East or Eastside of the hospital building is perfect for the setting up of pathological lab. The medical center should be placed in the Northwest direction.

Heavy Machinery and Electrical Appliances:

X-Ray/Ultrasound unit should be in the Southeast direction. Heavy machinery inside the hospital should be placed in the West, South-west and North-west direction. Electric room with a large generator, transformer, should be in the Southeast or Northwest direction.

Placement of water tanks:

South West, West and Noth West corner of the building is most suitable for the construction of an overhead tank while the underground water tank should be on the North East side of the hospital. 

Location of Toilet and Bathrooms:

Toilet inside the hospital should be in the west or south portion.
